About my Guest:
Worked as a New York City Firefighter for almost 22 years. His firefighting career was cut short by an advanced form of Leukemia diagnosed in 2011, which was attributed to exposure to toxins at 9/11/2001 World Trade Center rescue and recovery operations. Thankful and blessed to be staying ahead of cancer and enjoying full remission. Niels's father, Paul, also proudly served in the FDNY for 34 years.
